KMtalk: How’s the adoption of KM in Indonesia?
Rayanti: Knowledge management is at its very early stage in Indonesia. The concept and acceptance have not yet been establisehd in the country. Multinational Companies are doing knowledge management but local companies are yet to adopt KM into their business processes.

With some hundreds of participants and renowned KM gurus from various parts of the world, KM Asia 2006 conference has definitely made impacts to a number of young KMers like us. Being invited by Ark Group, the organizer, to join as a delegate, I was quite delighted to join the 2-day conference, which allowed well space for networking and to listen to people’s perception on various knowledge management issues.

KUALA LUMPUR, Sept 12 (Bernama) -- The discipline of knowledge management is very pertinent for Malaysia, especially in its move to transform its economy into a knowledge-based economy as envisaged in Vision 2020, Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak said Tuesday.
The deputy prime minister said knowledge management should be seen as an effective tool to enhance the delivery service for the citizens of the country.
